1. Which personal data does Calque process and why?

   Calque processes your personal data, including your name, address, telephone number and email address that you have provided to Calque as a client or future client or when you contact Calque. Calque also processes your bank account number and VAT number. These data allow Calque to send you an offer or invoice, process the administrative and financial part of your assignment, carry out the assignment, and contact you if necessary. The documents you send to Calque to be translated may also contain personal data. Those personal data will be processed solely as part of the translation.

2. Grounds of the processing of personal data

   Calque solely processes your personal data in accordance with the grounds set out in the GDPR. If necessary, we will ask your permission to process your personal data and you can revoke your permission at any time. If you enter into an agreement with Calque, Calque will process your personal data only to the extent that this is necessary for the performance of the agreement. Calque may also process your personal data if Calque has a legitimate interest in doing so while minimizing the impact on your privacy.

3. The retention period of your personal data

   Calque will retain personal data collected for the purposes of the agreement for a period of ten years. After this term, the documents you have provided and their translations will be anonymized and retained for reference purposes. Financial details will be deleted 7 years after the final assignment or invoice. Your details are stored on my computer and on an external hard drive.

4. Your rights

   You have the right to access the personal data that Calque processes. You may request to have your personal data changed, deleted, or transferred at any time. Calque will comply with your request as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

   Calque does not disclose your personal data without your express consent unless disclosure is necessary is for the performance of the assignment, or to protect our interests or the interests of third parties, or if required to do so by law.
